How to Get Thicker Hair – Guide for Men

Everyone desires to have great hair but sometimes they don’t have enough time or care that much to give it a couple of hours in a day. Thicker hair provides more volume makes it easier to style and to be honest it looks really good. So here are some easy tips that I’ve found for you for getting thick hair.

Do a hair mask.

Hair masks definitely strengthen your hair by nourishing it with moisture. The keratin in the mask is supposedly identical to the keratin naturally produced by our hair, skin, and nails. This results in soft, moisturized locks that look healthy and feel thicker.

Get regular hair cuts.

Barbers made it a point to reiterate the importance of regular hair cuts. You don’t have to make a drastic change every time you get a cut, in fact, I recommend just “half an inch every six weeks” for optimum growth. These regular cuts will eventually make your hair thick.

Focus on scalp health.

If the scalp is healthy, clean, and getting vitamins and minerals, it will keep the follicles healthy and hair will be growing thicker.

A lot of people daily uses a lot of hair products which can contain some harsh chemicals. These chemicals can dry out your scalp leaving rough plain on the head which your follicles avoid. So make sure you always take good care of it.

Minimize The Use Of Heat

Your constant usage of heated styling tools makes your hair dry, weak, and damaged – and more prone to breakage. Avoid or limit the use of heat styling tools like blow dryers, straighteners, and curling irons to special occasions.

Try natural styling methods such as buns, braids, and plaits. Also, make sure you do not tie your hair too tight.

Massage Your Scalp

Take some coconut oil in a bowl and heat it until it is warm. You need to gently massage it into your scalp with your fingertips in circular motions.

Make sure to do it for a couple of minutes, repeating the procedure back and forth on the scalp. Leave it on overnight and wash your hair in the morning.

This procedure stimulates blood circulation in your scalp, thereby encouraging hair growth.

Eat Right

What you eat is going to show on your hair. Yes, you read that right. You need to provide proper nourishment for your hair to grow.

Follow a well-balanced diet that includes enough protein, vitamins (A, E, and C), iron, calcium, omega-3 fatty acids, biotin, and magnesium.

It is all about the little care that you take every day – diligently and consistently. Keep in mind the tips we have mentioned, and let us know how they have worked for you. Simply leave a comment in the box you see below.

Wash Your Hair Right

Washing their hair in the right manner can make a hell lot of difference.

The first rule – do not wash your hair every day with shampoo. It prevents the scalp from producing natural oils that nourish your hair.

Also, avoid using hot water – it dries your hair and makes it brittle. It’s best to wash your hair every other day with cold water.
